Street art created July 28, 2012

The result of the artwork from the 2012 JWI Block Party was fantastic.  It took between 4-5 hours for David Newman-Stump, Tyler Newman-Stump, and Shauna Neukam to complete this piece.   The artists of Skeleton Crew Tattoo will join forces again this next weekend, August 25, 2012.  Drag yourself out of bed to see this event which lasts from 10am-4pm.  You will want to stop by several times to watch the progress of this piece.  The artwork is in conjunction with the Taming the Fire event sponsored by the Columbus Area Arts Council and also the Columbus ArtFEST.  We will be set up on Washington street in Columbus, near downtown (between 3 and 4th st).   Not only will Skeleton Crew Tattoo artists be on the street, they will be joined by the talents of Barbara Stump and Dave Neukam.  Barb, who also happens to be David and Tyler's mother, is bringing some amazing silk pieces she has painted. You will not want to miss your opportunity to see her work.  To see a sample of her art you can stop by the tattoo studio, 907 Washington in Columbus.

2012 JWI Block Party Sidewalk Art

The 2012 block party was a huge success!  Shauna Neukam, David Newman-Stump and Tyler Newman-Stump of Skeleton Crew Tattoo shared their talents with the community.  Beyond tattooing this group has amazing artistic ability.  They combined their efforts to complete a great work of sidewalk art.  It was great to see all of our clients and others at the event.  Thanks to all who stopped by to check it out and say hi.  Please post any comments you have about the piece or event.
